Macoun Youth Group serves up success at spaghetti night fundraiser

The Macoun Youth Group of Awesome hosted a spaghetti night fundraiser and silent auction on Friday night, raising over $3,000 for the youth group.

The annual event included a by-donation spaghetti dinner prepared and served by the youth, alongside a silent and live auction. A big-ticket item from the night was a quilt made by members of the church, which was purchased for $300 then donated back to be auctioned off for another $225. 

The funds raised will go toward registration fees for the youth to attend YouthQuake, a weekend youth retreat held at Briercrest College and Seminary, as well as supporting their regular activities.
