Red Deer Rebels athletic therapist Terence Robertson has earned a prestigious national appointment, being named to the Team Canada staff for the upcoming 2025 IIHF U18 Men’s World Championship.

The international tournament will take place from April 23 to May 3 in Frisco and Allen, Texas. Robertson will serve as part of Canada’s support staff, helping prepare and care for the country’s top young hockey talent.

This marks the second time Robertson has worked with Hockey Canada. He was previously part of the support team at the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Edmonton, where Canada captured gold.

Before the puck drops in Texas, Team Canada is holding a pre-tournament training camp in Oakville, Ontario from April 12 to 15. In the preliminary round of the championship, Canada will face off against Slovakia, Latvia, Finland, and Norway.
