The Red Deer Hospital Lottery is back for its 27th year.
The lottery which helps almost 500,000 patients a year will be used to fund essential new and replacement equipment.
Buying a ticket will help bridge the gap between what government funding provides and what the hospital needs to deliver exceptional care.
Your support helps fund state-of-the-art equipment that doctors and nurses need right now to care for patients across Central Alberta. It's once again critical for funding as plans for the hospital expansion move forward. Patients in Central Alberta need access to life-saving technology, and money from the lottery makes that possible.
As always, the prizes for the lottery are huge, and Manon Therriault, the CEO for the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation, talks about this year's dream home.
"It's a beautiful home. There's over 2800 square feet of furnished living space. It's got a screen deck, vaulted ceilings. I'm in love with the claw foot tub,and some really nice finishes. It's over $1,000,000 and a really beautiful place."
The 3-bedroom home comes with 2.5 luxury bathrooms and also includes furnishings and accessories. You can check out the home in person at 128 Emmett Crescent, in Red Deer. Doors are open Saturdays from 11 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Other prizes include artwork, electronics, and e-bike, smart TV and other cash prizes as well.
