Local high school badminton players competed in the Senior SWAC Districts at SCCHS last weekend, while the grade nines headed to Cabri for the Junior North Sectionals.
At the Comp, Michael Liu secured second in boys singles while Hannah Riego took second in girls doubles, while Saryn Allan and Tate Unger finished with silver in mixed doubles.
All three senior teams will next compete in the SHSAA Regionals in Maple Creek on Saturday, May 3.
In Cabri, Swift Current's Maverick Friesen took gold in boys singles while Arvee Santos and Isaac Ferguson came out with first in boys doubles.
The Comp's Reece Lantican and Sofia Ubaldo took silver in girls doubles, while Emberlyn Fritz-Irwin and Tayvin Carlson captured second in mixed doubles.
The four junior teams are set to advance to the Junior SWAC Districts on May 3.
