Swift Current Broncos General Manager Chad Leslie is proud and excited to see four of their players on the final rankings for NHL Central Scouting ahead of the 2025 NHL Draft.

"It's exciting for sure," Leslie said. "I'm happy for the guys that have been identified, and it just speaks to the quality of kids they are. The guys that are on the list that are in their second or third year of eligibility it just speaks to their development. I'm very happy for them."

Four very different players represent the Swift Current Broncos on the final rankings for NHL Central Scouting ahead of the 2025 NHL Draft.

Peyton Kettles is ranked 39th among North American Skaters, Luke Mistelbacher is 93rd, Josh McGregor is 111th, and Grayson Burzynski came in at 191st.

Leslie feels part of that is being able to recognize and embrace the type of player you are.

"It's just always having belief in yourself a little bit and being realistic in the areas that you need to work on," He noted. "The other thing I think that falls on deaf ears a little bit is just understanding what you are as a player and valuing that. I think there are a lot of guys, they misinterpret what they are and what they can't be, and maybe don't value it and feel that being on the score sheet and getting points is the most important thing. Even Dawson Gerwing is on the list; you're identified as the guys who just get an understanding of what they are and what they could be down the road. Embrace that. I think that there are opportunities for guys for sure if they believe and they want to work."
