Voters in Red Deer will have a chance to meet federal election candidates face-to-face during an informal event hosted by the local Chamber of Commerce tonight (April 23).
The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Marquis Room at the Harvest Centre in Westerner Park.
Unlike a traditional forum or debate, the format is designed to be relaxed and conversational. Each candidate will be provided with a designated table, allowing them to speak directly with attendees, answer questions and share information about their platform.
The Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce says the goal is to offer a neutral and accessible space for community members to connect with those seeking federal office.
The event is free to attend and open to the public.
Voters head to the polls on April 28.
