During Wednesday's City Council's Executive Meeting in Humboldt, the City's Protective Services stats from March were discussed.

From the local RCMP detachment, there was an increase of reported incidents for March with 119 compared to February with 104.

Traffic charges decreased last month with nine incidents as opposed to 21 from the previous month. This was also a sharp decrease from March of 2024 when there were 42 traffic charges.

Inside the Community Safety Officer's report, there were several complaints from residents about a pair of moose that were in the 11th Ave and King Crescent area near the golf course. It said the next step was to work alongside the Conservation Officers to tranquilize and remove the animals.

From the Fire Department, they responded to four fire-related incidents and assisted with three situations including a two-vehicle collision, a snowmobile accident with injuries and a single vehicle rollover.
