Cochrane Activettes offer up two $4,500 bursaries for local students

The Cochrane Activettes are inviting local students to apply for two bursaries, each valued at $4,500.

The awards started as a way to mark the organization’s 35th anniversary and have grown to becoming a insturmental way to support youth in the Cochrane area pursuing post-secondary education.

Applicants must be 21 or younger as of June 1, 2025, and be graduates of a Cochrane high school.

Eligible students must also be attending or planning to attend a post-secondary institution this fall.

The bursaries are designated for tuition and compulsory fees and are aimed at students facing financial challenges.

Applicants must currently volunteer or have previously volunteered in the Cochrane community.

The deadline to apply is Thursday, June 1, 2025.
