A date has been set. The City of Moose Jaw’s Community Clean-up Committee will hold its spring clean-up day on May 10.

Residents are encouraged to come out, help pick up garbage and pitch in to clean up the city.

“It’s a chance for all residents to come work together to make sure our city looks as good as it can—before the big tourist season and for all of us, of course, to enjoy our city,” said city manager Maryse Carmichael.

Carmichael added that some cleaning was done around the city ahead of the BKT World Men’s Curling Championship in March. However, there’s still plenty of work to be done.

“We did a little bit of it already before the World Curling Championship. We wanted the city to look really, really good, but our official clean-up will be on May 10,” said Carmichael.

Further details, such as where everyone will meet, will be released by the city closer to the date.
