The Lacombe Generals 50/50 draws have made a significant impact, raising a total of $14,273.50 for KidSport Lacombe County. This generous sum will help local children get the opportunity to participate in sports by covering the costs of their registration fees.

The funds raised from the 50/50 draws will directly benefit approximately 57 kids from Lacombe and surrounding areas, including Lacombe County. KidSport Lacombe County provides financial assistance to children aged 18 and under, helping to eliminate the barriers that prevent them from playing the sports they love. Grants of up to $250 per child, per year, are available for children in Lacombe, Blackfalds, Alix, Bentley, Eckville, and Clive.

KidSport Lacombe County’s mission is to ensure all kids, regardless of their financial situation, have the chance to stay active, learn new skills, and be part of a team. The success of this year’s 50/50 draw is a clear reflection of the community’s commitment to supporting local youth and making a positive difference in their lives.
