The Town of Rocky Mountain House is seeking feedback from residents on the future of policing in the community. In partnership with Western Management Consultants (WMC), the town is conducting a comprehensive review of its current policing model and exploring alternatives to ensure public safety.

The objectives of the study are to assess the effectiveness of the existing RCMP municipal policing model, investigate innovative and proven public safety practices, and gather residents' opinions on crime and victimization. The survey will also explore potential policing options to address any concerns about community safety.

The survey is open to all RMH residents and takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes to complete. It was launched on Tuesday, April 22 and will remain open until Tuesday, May 6. Residents can access the survey on the Municipal Policing Model Study webpage or directly through the following link: Municipal Policing Model Survey.

This initiative aims to ensure that the town's policing practices are aligned with the needs and expectations of the community. The input gathered from the survey will be used to inform future decisions about the best way to provide policing services and enhance public safety in Rocky Mountain House.

Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete the survey and contribute to shaping the future of policing in the community.
