Elections Canada released preliminary data for advance polling on Thursday for the 343 electoral districts for its 45th Federal General Election.
The Swift Current-Grassland-Kindersley district had 12,268 ballots cast between April 18-21, or about 22.5 per cent of the region's eligible electors. The ridings advanced votes represented about six per cent of the province's advance ballot count of 206,754.
Southwest residents in the Riverhurst, Chaplin, and Gravelbourg areas are a part of the Moose Jaw-Lake Centre-Lanigan district that had 14,839 advance ballots cast.
And the southwest communities of Wood Mountain, Assiniboia, and Rockglen are encompassed in the Souris-Moose Mountain district, with 13,265 ballots cast.
