A large grass fire near Maskwacis has been contained.
In an update posted to Facebook, the Samson Cree Nation said the blaze was contained at 7:17 p.m. on Friday (Apr.25), and roads in the area reopened at 9:30 p.m.
Fire crews monitored for hot spots overnight.
