The Melfort Mustangs are back-to-back Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League champions.

They beat Swift Current's Ryder Rommelaere and the Weyburn Red Wings 4-1 in the league championship.

Melfort wrapped up the series with a 3-0 win on home ice.

The Mustangs have former Swift Current Bronco Zach Turner on their roster.

They now move on to the Centennial Cup to compete for the national Junior A championship in Calgary.

Rommelaere put up 16 points in 38 regular season games as a rookie.

He suited up for 10 games during the playoff run.
