Derek Webster-Dinney, 33, pleaded guilty to operation while prohibited and theft. He received a 14-month conditional sentence order, which includes a curfew, 20 hours of community service, and restitution of $928 to Kindersley Castle Building Centre for unrecovered stolen items.

Progress was made in the combined Cisna, Finlay and Nernberg case. All three accused elected trial by provincial court judge. Trial dates were scheduled for October 27 to 31 and November 3 to 5. A case management conference between defense counsel and the Crown is set for May 9.

Brandon Wasylenchuk pleaded guilty to sexual assault. Sentencing has been adjourned to July 29.

Several other matters were rescheduled. Dana Lee elected trial by Court of King’s Bench with a jury on charges of sexual assault and sexual assault with a weapon. Jason Dunlop’s trial is scheduled for Aug. 5. He faces three counts of failure to comply with an order, one count of possession of property obtained by crime, and one count of possession of a controlled substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
