Gull Lake's Josh Benjamin had his name called in the WHL Prospect Draft today.
The Calgary Hitmen selected the 15-year-old goaltender with the 223rd pick of the draft.
Benjamin went 8-8 for the Swift Current U15 AA Pure Chem Broncos this season. He had a 3.36 goals against average and 0.909 save percentage.
On a deeper team in his rookie season, Benjamin went 8-0-1 with a 1.90 goals against average and 0.913 save percentage.
The 5'10, 130lbs netminder is the latest Gull Lake product to get the WHL call.
He follows in the footsteps of recent WHL drafted goaltenders Berney Weston and Cade Mitchell from his hometown.
