Yet another move by the Swift Current Broncos.

They've completed a hectic two-day stretch by sending veteran forward Rylan Gould to the Everett Silvertips for a 2026 1st round WHL Prospect Draft pick and Chaplin's Kasey Gleim.

The Broncos have now added 1st round picks in 2025, 2026, 2027, and a conditional pick in 2028 in deals over the last two days.

Gould played four seasons and 258 games for Swift Current.

He scored 57 goals and had 94 assists over that span.

The Headingly, MB native only managed 17 points over his first two seasons with the Broncos, but he found another level with 134 over his final 128 games with the team.

"Just a guy that gives you all he's got," said Broncos GM Chad Leslie. "We've seen great progression for Rylan's career to this point. I'm really happy with where he has taken his game to."

Gould was also the Broncos' Humanitarian of the Year for 2024-25.

Gleim had 17 goals and 15 assists in 44 games for a strong Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires squad in Saskatchewan U18 AAA this season.

Everett picked him in the 5th round of the 2024 WHL Prospect Draft after he put up 40 goals and 30 assists in 50 games with the U15 AA Pure Chem Broncos in 2023-24.

"I like Kasey I always have," Leslie said. "I liked the fact that this year he took on a different role with that team. He didn't get a ton of power play, but killed some penalties and scored 18 goals in a role where he didn't get a lot of power play time. There is a player there for sure. He's competitive, he's a great kid, he's got some touch, and he can score."

The Broncos traded away four returning overage players in Gould, Brady Birnie, Luke Mistelbacher, and Grayson Burzynski to restock their draft capital and prospect pool.

They added at least three 1st round picks in a total of 13 draft picks and two prospects from those deals.
