A doubleheader on Saturday resulted in the first win of the season for the Swift Current Wolverines.
Grady Henderson scored six goals as Swift Current beat the Saskatoon Swat 16-5 on Saturday afternoon.
Riley Schafer and Isaac Froese each had hat tricks in the win.
It was Swift Current's first victory of the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League junior season.
The Wolverines then fell 16-7 to the Prince Albert Predators on Saturday night.
It was only an 8-6 Prince Albert lead after the second period, but the Predators pulled away in the third.
Brayden Rieger scored eight times for Prince Albert.
Henderson scored two more goals for Swift Current in a losing cause.
The Wolverines are now 1-3 on the season and host 3-0 Moose Jaw on Thursday night at S3 Arenas.
