Swift Current Broncos fans will always remember May 13th.
It just depends on which year you're talking about.
The date first earned a special place in the hearts of Broncos fans when Tim Tisdale scored the winning goal in their 1989 Memorial Cup victory over the Saskatoon Blades.

It was on this date, 19 years later, when Swift Current fans again got to celebrate.
On May 13th, 2018, the Broncos beat Everett 3-0 to secure a Western Hockey League Championship.
Current Edmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner got the shutout that day as Swift Current secured their third WHL championship banner.
