Estevan police responded to multiple calls Tuesday reporting an assault and damage to a vehicle in a parking lot on the north end of the city.

Two victims sustained minor injuries during the altercation. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived but turned themselves in a short time later.

An 18-year-old man has been charged with assault and mischief. Charges are pending against a 15-year-old girl.

Police also received a report of a break and enter into storage units at a business in the east end of the city. The incident remains under investigation.

Curfew checks were conducted on two individuals who were under conditions to be in their residences during specified hours. Both were found to be in breach of those conditions, and charges will be laid.

A traffic stop during the night shift resulted in a female driver receiving a 72-hour driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impound after she showed signs of impairment and performed poorly on a field sobriety test. Blood samples were obtained, and Criminal Code impaired driving charges are pending the results.

Estevan Police Service and Estevan Fire Rescue also responded to a trailer fire in the 300 block of Willow Park Greens. The trailer sustained significant fire damage, but the residents were able to evacuate without serious injuries.
