Aggie Days Mountain View is returning to Carstairs later this week, and students from Chinook’s Edge School Division (CESD) are getting a full day of hands-on learning.

The two-day event on Friday and Saturday offers an informative and interactive experience that celebrates the legacy, value and future of agriculture.

It is a collaborative effort hosted by the agricultural societies of Carstairs, Cremona and Didsbury, with support from Mountain View County.

On Friday, CESD students in Grades 4 to 6 will spend the day in Carstairs, participating in agricultural education activities designed just for them.

The event opens to the public on Saturday, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offering free, family-friendly programming.

Visitors will be able to interact with a wide variety of agriculture-focused exhibitors and learn more about the role agriculture plays in their community.

The Carstairs Fire Department and the High School Rodeo Association will also be on-site, along with mini-horses, seed planting stations and rope-making activities.
