Red Deer County has lifted their fire restriction.

Those interested in obtaining permits can visit the county website. You will need to login or register an account if new. 

A reminder that a fire permit is required for all open fires year-round, except for safe acceptable residential fire pits within Red Deer County.

While conditions for burning have improved, permit holders are advised to closely monitor the weather, and to continue to check Red Deer County’s website and the Alberta fire ban website for any changes and additional information.

Fire Services will continue to monitor weather patterns should dry weather conditions return another fire restriction may be put in place.
