Climax's Willie Desjardins is once again a WHL Champion.
The legendary junior hockey coach took his Medicine Hat Tigers to their sixth Ed Chynoweth Cup in franchise history.
The Tigers beat Spokane 4-2 on Friday night to wrap up the WHL Championship Series in five games.
Former Swift Current Broncos forward Mathew Ward will earn a championship ring as a member of the Tigers this season.
Ward had 12 points in 18 playoff games.
Back in the first round, the Broncos handed Medicine Hat one of their two losses throughout a dominant playoff run.
It's the third WHL Championship for Desjardins as head coach and his first since 2007.
The Tigers will now advance to the Memorial Cup in Rimouski.
