A determined effort for the Swift Current 15U AAA Argue Law 57's on Saturday.
"Just really liked how our group came back," said 57's Head Coach Brayden Harrison. "A no quit attitude."
Swift Current came back from down 6-0, 8-5, and 11-8 to beat the Saskatoon Expos on Country 94.1 FM's Local Sports Live powered by OMT Projects.
It was an important response from the 57's after a 12-0 loss to the Expos to open their doubleheader.
"A lot about their heart," Harrison said. "We have so much heart on the bench. All 13 players have heart. That's how I constructed the team, and I think if it showed today."
Saskatoon jumped out to a big early lead and seemed to have Swift Current on the ropes. They pulled off a two out rally in the bottom of the third inning to start swinging the momentum.
"I was really impressed," said 57's slugger Luke Mitchell. "I kind of thought maybe we'd shut down, but then we just kept going and I was really happy about that."

It was Mitchell's grand slam in the third that got Swift Current on the board.
"Coach told me take a deep breath," Mitchell said. "I got in there and I heard it. Then I don't know and then coach was saying good job, and it went over the fence."
Drew Johnson went 3 for 3 with 3 RBIs. He drove in the winning runs with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 6th inning.
Reid Cashin and Lincoln Green each scored three times for Swift Current.
The 57's are 4-5 on the season. They play the North West Sun Devils on Sunday and Sask Five Giants on Monday.
