Cochrane Cobras alumus Justin Sambu is back with the Calgary Stampeders for his sophomore season in the CFL.

The 6-foot-2, 282-pound defensive lineman made a solid impact last year, racking up 10 tackles and four sacks in just eight games. He joined the Stamps after being originally drafted by the Toronto Argos and being cut after appearing in two exhibit games with the Argos last season.

Sambu didn't get game time into Week 9 of the CFL season and immediately made a statement with his first of four sacks on the season.
