The 18U AAA East Central Red Sox ended up at .500 through their four games on the weekend in a pair of doubleheaders.  

On Saturday, the Red Sox swept the White Butte Bronco earning a 5-2 win followed by a15-2 victory.  

In the first game, the Red Sox were trailing 2-1 into the sixth inning before they exploded with four runs led by singles from Blake Morelli, Jaxon Schleper, and Jacob Trann.  

Pryor Dyck and Cade Armstrong each had a pair of hits.  

Taylor Coleman picked up the win on the mound, tossing five innings with 10 strikeouts. 

The bats came alive in the second game on Saturday as they cruised to a 15-2 win. 

Dayne Schommer knocked in three runs, Jarrett Rude, Cade Armstrong, Taylor Coleman and Jacob Trann each two RBIs. The Red Sox ended up with 10 hits during the contest.

Pryor Dyck earned the win, tossing five innings with eight strikeouts, and allowing three hits.  

On Sunday, the Red Sox were on the losing end of both games in their doubleheader against the Moose Jaw Canucks.  

In the first game, the Red Sox held an 8-2 advantage into the bottom of the fifth inning before the Canucks answered back with five wins. Moose Jaw completed the comeback with three runs in the bottom of the sixth.  

Cade Britz led the Red Sox offensive charge with a pair of hits and an RBI. 

In the second game, the Canucks bats continued to heat as they hammered the Red Sox 13-3.  

Jarret Rude homered for the Red Sox. 

Next action for the Red Sox is in Muenster on Thursday as they host the Sask Five Marlins. The first pitch is at 6:00 p.m.
