It was a busy weekend for Swift Current lacrosse teams across Saskatchewan.

Prairie Gold Lacrosse League

Another close loss to Moose Jaw for the Swift Current Wolverines in the junior Prairie Gold Lacrosse League.

Shane Cornelson and Isaac Froese each scored three times for Swift Current in the loss.

Moose Jaw built up a 13-6 lead before Swift Current scored the last four goals in a late attempted comeback.

Ryder Gilroy scored four times and had four assists for the Mustangs.

Swift Current takes 2-5 record into a home game against Weyburn on Sunday.

U17

Chayse Schafer and Diezel Paulhus each had hat tricks in a 9-8 Swift Current Rampage win over Weyburn on Saturday.

Schafer had another hat trick and Paulhus added four points in a 7-0 win to secure a sweep over Weyburn in their doubleheader. 

The Rampage are 4-4 and visit Weyburn for two more games on the weekend.

U15

A win and two losses for the Swift Current U15 Rampage in Regina over the weekend.

Kendon Mathies scored twice in a 7-4 loss to the Regina Chaos Grey on Friday night.

Greysen Waiser then had two goals and a helper in an 8-4 win over Regina Chaos Blue on Saturday.

The Rampage then fell 18-8 again against Chaos Grey in their second game on Saturday.

Waider had three points, while Emmerson Pilgrim, Mazin Zanidean and Hudson Klimm scored twice in a losing cause.

Swift Current heads to Moose Jaw on Wednesday.

U13

Lee Brown scored four times to lead the Rampage to a 6-4 win over Regina Chaos Green in the first of two games on Saturday.

Regina got revenge with a 5-3 win in the second game.

Luke Hudson scored twice for Swift Current in the loss.

The Rampage head to Weyburn on May 31.

U11

Both Swift Current U11 teams were in Regina over the weekend.

The Rampage Rowdy lost twice to the Regina Chaos Blue on Saturday, fell 11-3 to Weyburn on Sunday, and picked up a 5-5 tie against Estevan.

Jack Francoeur and Mason Greco-Conschior each scored at least once in all four Swift Current games.

Griffin Larson had a hat trick as the Rampage Bruiser beat Estevan 5-3 on Sunday.

They then lost 11-3 to Weyburn.

The two Swift Current teams play each other this coming Saturday.
