Golden effort from Humboldt Hurricanes at Sask Cup Rural Provincial Championships

The Humboldt Hurricanes Soccer teams struck gold on the pitch this weekend at the Sask Cup Rural Provincial Championships held in Humboldt.  

It was nearly a clean sweep for the Humboldt squads with plenty of strong showings. 

The U19 team won gold following a 3-2 victory over the East Central Soccer Academy. Also, Liam Zimmerman was named the U19 Tournament MVP.  

It was also a golden effort from the U15 squad as they defeated Lanigan 1-0 in the final. 

The younger divisions competed in a round robin format.  

U13 Girls finished 3-1.  

U13 Boys were undefeated at 3-0. 

U11 Boys were also perfect, finishing 4-0.

And the U9 Mixed Gender team was 5-1.
