The R.M. of Morris is advising Rosenort residents to stay away from a portion of Pleasant Valley Road between the dike and River Road South now that a portion of the road has collapsed into the river.
The impacted section of Road 30 NE was first closed on Friday, and the river has continued to wash out the ground underneath the low level crossing. According to a social media post by the Municipality, the section of road is completely impassable and taking an alternative route is required.
In a different post, Rosenort Fire Department indicated the bank is extremely unstable, and whether driving or walking, residents should avoid the area.
Meanwhile, Road 29 NE between PR 422 and River Road South is also closed.
R.M. of Morris officials have been contacted for additional information.
