The Saskatchewan Health Authority is letting the public know about additional measles exposure risks in Swift Current and Regina.
If you have been at any of the following locations during the specified time, you are asked to monitor for measles symptoms for up to 21 days after exposure.

You are asked to call Healthline 811 if you have been exposed and you are unvaccinated, are unsure of your vaccination status or developing measles symptom. If you are going to the emergency department or a clinic, call before entering the building so proper precautions can be taken to minimize the spread.
Symptoms of measles include:

fever,

cough,
-
runny nose,
-
red eyes,
-
fatigue,
-
irritability (feeling cranky or in a bad mood),

small, white spots (known as Koplik spots) inside the mouth and throat, and
-
red blotchy rash, which develops on the face and spreads down the body about three to seven days after symptoms begin and can last four to seven days.
