Red Sox down 57's in WCBL season opener

A rough outing to start the WCBL season for the Swift Current 57's.

Regina broke open a scoreless game with 10 runs in the 6th and 7th innings on their way to an 11-1 win.

Adam Korte took the loss on the mound for Swift Current despite only allowing two runs in 5 2/3 innings.

The 57's managed only 5 hits against three Regina pitchers.

Swift Current is right back at it as they host Medicine Hat at Mitchell Field tonight.

The Mavericks are 2-0 to start the season.
