Seniors Week is getting started on Monday in Lacombe with a full list of activities for 55+ adults to take part in.
The events mark a week dedicated to honouring and celebrating the contributions of older adults in the community.
Seniors’ Week has been recognized since 1986 and was inspired by the vision of the late Alice Modin.
Almost 40 years ago, Modin began a campaign to start a seniors’ day in Strathcona County that helped pave the way for this annual event.
Start planning your week with these activities in town and check back for more events in other regions.
