The Sylvan Lake Municipal Library is bringing back its popular Name That Tune Fundraiser this Saturday evening — an event that promises to create some musical memories.

Now in its second year, the fundraiser will feature team-based music trivia, along with prizes, a silent auction and a raffle. Proceeds will go toward purchasing new furniture for the library’s youth space.

Teams of up to six players will compete by testing their tune recognition skills in a night of friendly competition and community support.

Space is limited, and head programmer Corrie Brown encourages attendees to purchase tickets in advance.

“We will have some tickets available at the door as well, but it’s always best to get them in advance — and then you want to book your table directly with the venue,” said Brown.

Advance tickets are $10, while door tickets are $15, cash only. Song repeats and hints can also be purchased during the evening for cash.

“It is an evening of musical fun — and some trivia fun,” added Brown.

The event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Diamond Valley Den, located upstairs in the NexSource Centre.

For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the library website.
