U13A Bulldogs secure weekend victories with a blowout and a close win

Some softball success over the weekend for the Estevan 13A Bulldogs girls softball as they played two games in Whitewood against the Pipestone Valley Cats and Lumsden Cubs.  

Their first game against the Pipestone Valleycats had the Bulldogs claim a victory 11-0. Through the match, they held the Valleycats to zero hits, and 13 of the 18 outs were strikeouts.

In the second game, the Bulldogs got their revenge on the Cubs from the weekend before and beat them 14-13 in a game that was competitive to the very last out. The effort was led by Danae Shlamp, who hit a home run in the first inning.

The Bulldogs are currently placed at 4-1 in the Regina league.
