Shaunavon product Corey Bailey opened the PGA of Canada Professionals and Amateurs Saskatchewan competitive season with a strong showing.
He shot -3 to finish second in the MNP Northeast Open from the Evergreen Golf Course in Nipawin.
Despite starting his first round with two bogeys, Bailey rallied for a -1 finish on Saturday before shooting a -2 70 on Sunday.
Thomas Danielson won the tournament at -8.
They both win $1200 for their performance.
Bailey has had success in Nipawin before, as he won the 2014 provincial Junior Boys' Golf Championship in the town.
