Meet Lola, this week’s Adorable Adoptable!
This friendly and easy-going bunny is ready to hop into your heart and home.
Lola is free-roaming in her foster home and enjoys stretching her legs around the house.
“So many people don’t know this, but bunnies can be house trained,” says Robyn Roy, communications co-ordinator with the Humane Society.. “Lola is litter trained and super neat!”
She’s gentle, affectionate, and doesn’t mind being picked up or held, perfect for a home with respectful children.
“Bunnies are playful, just like cats or dogs,” says Roy. “They’ll explore, bounce around and even enjoy toys if given the chance.”
Lola looks forward to her daily greens and would thrive in a home that gives her both space and enrichment.
“If you’re thinking of getting a bunny, make sure you’re ready,” says Roy. “They need space, privacy, places to burrow and climb.”
“They’re amazing pets.”
