U11 Humboldt Thunder softball team dominate on their way to a tournament victory in Moose Jaw

The U11 Humboldt Thunder Girls Softball team were in total control this past weekend on their way to winning a tournament in Moose Jaw.

After finishing first place in their pool, they shutout the Regina Royals 10-0 in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals they beat the Saskatoon Hustlers 9-0, and in the finals beat the Moose Jaw Vipers 11-1.

The girls were forced to play 5 games on Sunday due to smoky conditions in Moose Jaw.

The Thunder will be in action this Sunday on home turf with three games on the slate. They host the Melfort Spirit at 10:00 am, the Watrous Royals at 12:00 pm and the Muenster A's at 3:00 pm, with all the games at Centennial Park.
