An RCMP officer was transported by STARS to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries following a collision on Highway #15 on the Muskowekwan First Nation near the rodeo grounds on Wednesday morning.
A marked RCMP vehicle and a truck collided.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck were transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.
A section of Highway #15 was closed during the investigation but eventually reopened.
Punnichy RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.

Two vehicles are involved in the incident, with one being a police vehicle.
An investigation has been launched into the incident. No other details have been provided at this time.
The section of Highway #15 is currently closed for an undetermined amount of time. Detours are in place, and motorists should expect delays.
