It was a record-breaking day at the HCAA Track and Field District Championships on May 27. 

In total, 19 new District records were established.  

Hailee Woodhouse of Holdfast set new records in the Senior Girls category in the 100m, 200m and 400m. 

In Senior Boys, Wynyard’s Dawson Malinowski set a new mark Long Jump and DeWet Luus of Strasbourg established a new record in Pole Vault.  

Lincoln Martin of Strasbourg set a new record in Junior Boy’s Pole Vault.  

Sarah Loehr of Muenster established a new top score in Javelin.  

Inside of the Intermediate Boys Jacob Puetz of Humboldt now holds the records in 100m Hurdles and Triple Jump. Brayden Romanson from Ituna set a new mark in the Long Jump. Connor Hubick of Strasbourg is the new record holder in Pole Vault. Quinn Streuby from Lake Lenore finished with a new top score in the Quadathlon and the Humboldt Collegiate Institute 4x100m relay team also set a new record.  

With the Intermediate Girls, Aly Stroeder of Lanigan established a new record in High Jump. Alynne Knittig from Annaheim set a new mark in the Quadathlon and the NW Quadrant 4x100m relay team finished with a new top score. 

Jack Ellis of Bruno earned two new records in the Bantam Boys category in the Long Jump and High Jump. Owen Parkin of Strasbourg created a new record in the Pole Vault with his score.  

In the Peewee Boys, Hunter Cronan of Strasbourg set a record in the 100m, Rald Tagoy of Humboldt established a new mark in High Jump and Layton MacMurchy from Raymore created a record in the Triathlon.  

With the Peewee Girls, Molly Ecans of Quill Lake set a record in the High Jump, Kylee Freeman from Imperial established a new mark in Shot Put (3 kg 2016+) and Venessa Hering of Bruno earned a new top score in the Triathlon.
