MACKLIN, Sask. – Macklin RCMP handled a variety of calls from May 27 to June 3, including a vehicle collision, wellness checks and a lost ID report.

Officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a deer. No injuries were reported and the matter was documented for insurance purposes.

Police also spoke with an individual in relation to a probation order.

RCMP conducted two separate wellbeing checks during the week, both requested by concerned family members. In both cases, officers confirmed the individuals were safe.

A report of lost personal identification was also received. The missing ID has not yet been recovered.

Additionally, officers responded to three traffic complaints and two false alarms during the reporting period.

Anyone with information about crimes in the Unity, Wilkie or Macklin areas is encouraged to contact their local RCMP detachment. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), *8477 on the SaskTel Mobility Network, or online at saskcrimestoppers.com. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
