Cochrane High School’s ROAMS program is hosting its annual ROAMS Fest tonight, celebrating student-led projects that blend education, community service, and environmental sustainability.
The public is welcome to attend this event, which runs at the high school from 4 to 7 p.m. Food trucks will be on site at 6 p.m., doors open to the exhibition hall at 6:20 p.m., and guests will be welcomed into the theatre for the mainstage program at 6:30 p.m.
ROAMS—short for Rivers, Oceans, and Mountains School—offers experiential learning rooted in real-world questions and community connections.
“This is more than a showcase—it’s a celebration of student voices making a real difference,” said ROAMS coordinator Jander Talen.
Exhibits, multimedia displays, and a mainstage program will explore topics such as environmental stewardship, local food systems, and sustainable living. Projects range from upcycling wood pallets and bikes to planting native gardens and writing books.
