Westerner Park has announced the appointment of five new members to its Board of Directors. Joining the board are Vernon Cey, Ajoy Joseph, Craig Lampard, Kimberly Shipley, and Denis O’Dwyer.
Justin Hubert, an incumbent Board member, has been re-elected. Justin’s continued presence brings valuable experience and continuity to the Board, and we are grateful for his ongoing commitment to Westerner Park.
According to a Westerner Park news release each of these individuals brings a wealth of knowledge, professional experience, and a deep commitment to community development. Their backgrounds span key sectors including business, finance, governance, and community engagement — all of which will play a pivotal role in guiding Westerner Park’s strategic priorities and ensuring its long-term sustainability as Central Alberta’s premier event destination.
Jeremy Moore has been elected as Chair and President of the Board. Jeremy has been a valued member of the Board, and his leadership, vision, and dedication to the Park’s mission make him an outstanding choice to lead the park to this next chapter.
Additionally, we congratulate Brad Dufresne on his election as Vice President.
