The Marysburg Royals improved their record to 5-1 on the season after they defeated the Saskatoon Dodgers 10-5 on Thursday night.
Nick Anderson had three hits and drove in two runs. Tom Hooker, Brody Frerichs, and Cole Bauml each had two hits.
It was a fast start for the Royals as they opened with an 8-0 advantage after the first three innings, scoring three runs in the first, three more in the second and capping off their early surge with a pair of runs in the third inning.
Marysburg also ended up with seven stolen bases on the night as Brody Frerichs, Cole Bauml and Tom Hooker each swiped a pair of bases.
Carter Frerichs earned the win on the mound.
Next scheduled action for the Royals is Sunday afternoon as they return to home turf for a doubleheader against the Hoppers.
Game 1 is slated to start at 12:00, with Game 2 at 3:00.
