Ayden Page induced a Silas Hilton flyout with the bases loaded to end the game as the Regina Red Sox shut down the Swift Current 57's offence on Friday night.
Page and Colten Anderson combined for a 6-hit shutout in Regina's 5-0 win.
Swift Current fell to 0-8 early in the WCBL season.
Casey Prychak, Luis Ayala, and Jose Ayala each had 2 hits for the 57's, but they left 10 runners on base in the loss.
The Red Sox scored 5 despite only having one additional baserunner.
Matthe Fox drove in a run and scored to give the Red Sox a 2-0 lead in the top of the 3rd inning.
Regina added another in the 4th to carry a 3-0 lead into the 9th inning. Jordan Tucker's two-run home run added some cushion for the Red Sox.
The 57's then loaded the left the bases loaded in the bottom of the inning.
Luke Reasor allowed 3 runs in 3 innings of work in taking the loss for Swift Current.
Swift Current native Ethan Murdoch and the Saskatoon Berries visit the 57's on Saturday and Sunday as their six-game homestand continues.
