After being shut out on Friday, the Swift Current 57's found their hitting stroke on Saturday.

They had 12 hits and scored 5 times, but it wasn't enough to pick up their first win of the WCBL season.

Swift Current native Ethan Murdoch doubled once and walked three times as his Saskatoon Berries beat the 57's 10-5.

The 57's out hit the Berries 12-8, but Saskatoon drew 10 walks in the game and took advantage of 4 Swift Current errors.

Jose Ayala hit his second home run in his last three games and drove in 3 runs for the 57's.

Swift Current leadoff hitterĀ Silas Hilton went 3 for 3 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored.

Ryker Ratcliff took the loss as he allowed 5 runs, only 2 earned, in 3 and 2/3 innings.

The 57's and Berries play again Sunday at 4:05 PM from Mitchell Field.
