The route for the Lacombe Days Parade on July 12 has been determined.
Due to construction around the city, this year’s walking celebration will follow a modified path.

According to event co-ordinator Jess Zylstra, the parade is always well received.
“We have about 10,000 people come and sit and watch the parade,” said Zylstra.
Parade registration is now open and Zylstra strongly encourages community members to sign up.
“If people would like to enter the parade, it’s free to enter. It’s great advertising,” said Zylstra.
She also noted the parade remains one of the few where candy is still tossed to spectators.
