MACKLIN, Sask. — RCMP in Macklin responded to a variety of calls for service between June 4 and June 9, including a semi collision that sent one person to hospital.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash involving a semi near Macklin, where one individual sustained injuries and was transported to hospital in Saskatoon by EMS. The investigation remains ongoing.
Police also received a report of fuel theft from a local gas station. Officers contacted the individual involved, who later paid for the fuel. No charges were laid.
RCMP responded to a complaint of uttering threats, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed. Officers were also called to a report of an abandoned vehicle in a rural area. The registered owner was located and moved the vehicle.
In a separate case, a wallet found on the street was turned in to police. Members also mediated a dispute between two adults.
RCMP recorded three false alarms and two false 911 calls during the week.
