Parks Canada will be waiving entry fees at all national parks, including the popular Banff National Park, from June 20 to September 2 as part of the new Canada Strong Pass initiative.
Announced June 16, the federal program, originally a campaign promise, offers free admission to all visitors at national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas managed by Parks Canada. It also includes a 25 per cent discount on camping fees.
Visitors won’t need to register or show a physical pass, just show up and enjoy. The offer is open to everyone, including international tourists.
Parks Canada Discovery Passes already purchased for June through August 2025 will be extended by three months.
