This week’s Adorable Adoptable is a cool customer with a great name to match. Meet Doc Martin, a four-year-old domestic long hair who is slowly stealing hearts at the Cochrane & Area Humane Society.
Doc was shy when he first arrived, but he's been quietly finding his confidence. His quirky personality is beginning to shine through, and he's starting to enjoy gentle affection and tasty treats.
“He really is, and he's cool like the shoes are cool, right?” says Robyn Roy, communications coordinator with the Humane Society. “He was on the shy side of things, but he is definitely warming up to people.”
Robyn says treats are the key to Doc’s heart. “He will be your best friend with treats and love.”
This handsome feline would do best in a calm home where he can continue to open up at his own pace. A fellow cat companion might be just the thing to help him fully blossom.
Doc Martin is available through the Companion Barn Cat program for an adoption fee of $65.
“He’s a cool dude,” says Robyn. “Whoever is lucky enough to get this guy is going to have a great little friend.”
