Wolf Creek Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Stephens to the position of assistant facilities manager.
Stephens brings more than 15 years of experience in the plumbing and gasfitting trades to the role, including over eight years working in both residential and commercial settings. As a certified journeyman plumber and Class B gasfitter, Stephens has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, reliability and leadership.
His background includes extensive work with HVAC and hydronic heating systems, blueprint interpretation and the safe, efficient use of a wide range of tools and materials. He also has proven experience leading teams, overseeing construction and renovation projects, and maintaining exceptional safety standards — having worked more than 17 years in hazardous settings without a lost-time incident.
“Ryan’s blend of technical skill, leadership experience and dedication to safety and quality makes him an outstanding addition to our Facilities team,” said Sonja Dykslag, assistant superintendent of people services. “His local roots and understanding of our schools and communities are an added strength.”
Raised in the Clive–Lacombe area, Stephens brings not only a deep professional toolkit but also a strong connection to the Wolf Creek region. His commitment to excellence and service will play a vital role in supporting school operations and ensuring safe, well-maintained environments for students and staff across the division.
“I’m excited to be joining Wolf Creek in this role,” said Stephens. “Having grown up in this area, it means a lot to be able to support the schools and communities I know so well. I look forward to working with the Facilities team to help create safe, functional spaces for students and staff.”
